The fifth annual planning meeting of the Croner Total Compensation Survey of Foundations will be held on Thursday, March 4, 2021.  Sponsoring foundations of the Survey will meet to discuss survey content and timely issues facing human resources professionals during remote work due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

The planning meeting agenda will include:

  • Presentation by CEO Hali Croner sharing the latest compensation and benefits trends.
  • Determination of the positions and practices to be studied in the 2021 Survey.
  • Roundtable discussion of current challenges and hot topics for HR professionals at grantmaking foundations.

Now in its 24th year, the Croner Survey of Foundations[1] is considered the gold standard benchmark resource for total compensation information and data for private grantmaking foundations and for community foundations.  The report covers demographics, salary administration, bonuses, benefits, Board of Director compensation and related information, and includes market data on compensation for 150 benchmark positions specific to foundations.

General eligibility criteria for foundations to participate are $100 million in assets and/or a minimum of 10 employees.  Private and community foundations are invited to participate.
