The Croner Animation and Visual Effects Survey is the benchmark compensation survey of the animation and visual effects industry. The Croner Survey provides up-to-date competitive compensation information about positions in companies that produce animated feature films or develop animation and/or visual effects for feature films, television, software games, digital and streamed entertainment.
The Survey has served as the benchmark resource for compensation professionals in the Animation and Visual Effects industries since its inception in 1994.
In 2022, 18 companies participated in this Croner Survey, reporting on 99 unique jobs in the U.S. and 34 unique jobs in Canada. In addition, 49 roll-up positions – by organization level or job function – are reported in the U.S. and 26 in Canada.
