As the streaming landscape becomes more competitive with the entry of legacy media giants into the mix of SVOD choices for viewers, Content Development jobs are at the forefront of the entertainment industry.

The C2HR Content Developers Compensation Survey provides up-to-date competitive compensation information about positions in companies that develop content for television or digital entertainment as well positions specific to television and radio broadcasting. The Survey will be launched on Wednesday, January 13, 2021, when long-time and new survey participant companies gather virtually to plan for this year’s Survey content. This annual Survey planning meeting of compensation and human resources executives ensures that the Survey, conducted annually by The Croner Company, remains fresh and relevant to the current labor market.

The planning meeting will include:

  • Presentation by Croner Company CEO Hali Croner sharing the latest compensation and benefits trends in the industry.
  • Determination of the positions to be included to keep the Survey relevant.
  • Roundtable discussion of current challenges and hot topics for the industry HR professionals.

Thirty-seven companies — representing 153 networks and approximately 31,000 employees — are using the 2020 Croner C2HR Survey data. These companies use the data to gain ready insight into trends, to create rational pay plans and to stay well informed about going market rates for new hires, promotions, bonuses and talent retention.
