These additions result from discussions with industry representatives at the annual Survey Planning Meeting. The Planning Meeting was attended by human resources and compensation professionals from 25 companies that create and broadcast content on television, cable networks and digital streaming.

- Digital Distribution Operations
- Customer Support
The position grids for the 2021 C2HR Connectivity Providers Compensation Survey will cover ten new job families this year, resulting from discussions with industry representatives at the annual Survey Planning Meeting. The meeting was attended by human resources and compensation professionals from 11 cable, broadband and teleco companies.
The new job families added to the Survey are:

- Facilities / Real Estate
- Data Science
- Business / Network Support Engineering
- Voice Engineering
- Video Engineering
- IP Engineering
- DevOps Engineering
- Network Operations / Maintenance
- Wireless Installation / Service
