Animation and Visual Effects jobs are at the forefront of today’s entertainment. Animators and Visual Effects teams are producing content consumed in software games and in content streaming on Netflix, Amazon, Hulu, YouTube, Twitter, and Facebook.
The 2021 Croner Animation and Visual Effects Survey provides up-to-date competitive compensation information about positions that develop animation and/or visual effects across devices and platforms. The annual benchmark Survey will be launched on Thursday, February 11, 2021, when long-time and new survey participant companies gather virtually to plan for this year’s Survey. The meeting will be attended by compensation and human resources executives from participating companies in the Survey.
The planning meeting will include:
- Presentation by CEO Hali Croner sharing the latest compensation and benefits trends in the industry.
- Determination of the positions to be included to keep the Survey relevant
- Roundtable discussion of current challenges and hot topics for the industry HR professionals.
In 2020, 11 companies, representing approximately 5,500 U.S. employees and 62 unique jobs, participated in the Croner Survey. These companies use the survey data to understand current market trends and salary differentials, to establish job architecture and pay structures, to benchmark compensation and to make informed decisions about bonus plans and equity plans.
