Compensation Study for eCommerce and Digital Media Jobs

We are proud to be celebrating our 25th year of providing trusted market data on pay for jobs specific to online and mobile talent. Yes, twenty-five years ago there were “online” jobs! And Croner was providing compensation data for online positions back then.

The 2021 Croner Digital Content and Technology Compensation Survey cycle kicked off in January at the annual Survey Planning Meeting.  Together with our survey participant companies, we added new job families and positions to the Survey.  The new positions reflect the continued expansion of skills needed for online and mobile commerce and media.

The HR and compensation professionals attending the meeting also discussed current topics, such as policies for permanent remote work and geographic pay differentials. Croner interim surveys and roundtables keep a pulse on emerging practices throughout the year.

In the competitive environment for digital skills, we believe there are many ways for companies to thoughtfully attract and retain talent.  The Croner Survey results provide insight on which to base pay ranges, pay leveling, job structures and sales commission structures.

We look forward to again this year providing to our participant companies validated market data on all elements of compensation for digital employees. Survey participation leads to Results!
