Hali Croner
President and CEO
Hali has more than 35 years of consulting experience in compensation design and implementation. She partners with senior management and Boards of Directors at media, digital, entertainment and software games companies, as well as grantmaking foundations and nonprofits to create and enhance lasting compensation programs.
As a strategic advisor, Hali works with clients to craft market-based pay solutions that help strengthen their competitive advantage amid evolving labor markets, growth phases, acquisitions and other emerging challenges. She collaborates closely with Compensation Committees to advise on evolving executive compensation trends and to ensure that pay programs support business objectives while complying with regulatory requirements.
In addition, Hali is the visionary leader for Croner’s benchmarking surveys, which provide critical total rewards data for specific industry segments. She also leads and facilitates sector-specific roundtable forums with business leaders and compensation executives from global corporations.
Hali started her career as a Research Analyst at SRI International, an international think tank, followed by a role as a Staff Consultant at Sibson & Company, a compensation consulting firm. She joined The Croner Company in 1989. Hali is a graduate of Dartmouth College and is a distinguished member of Phi Beta Kappa. She serves as The Croner Company’s Principal Consultant and as President and Chief Executive Officer.
